20 c. water
2 c. vinegar
1 c. pickling salt
Pickling spices
Bay leaves
Fresh garlic
Fresh dill
Pickling cucumbers, cleaned

Directions:
Directions:
Bring the water, vinegar and pickling salt to a boil. While you wait for the water to boil, add 1 tsp of pickling spice, 1 bay leaf, fresh garlic and fresh dill to each sterilized jar. Add cucumbers, filling jars with as many as will fit relatively easily. Pour boiling brine into jars, covering all of the cucumbers right to the top. Seal.
Note: 1 bushel of cucumbers will fill 45 quart jars, and will require 4 batches of brine.
