12-14 thin slices white bread
Softened butter
˝ lb. fresh mushrooms, finely chopped
2 T. melted butter
˝ 1. curry powder
I T. lemon juice
1, salt
Dash freshly ground black pepper
Dash cayenne pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Remove crusts from bread slices and roll slices to Va” thickness. Spread surface of bread thinly with softened butter and set aside. Sauté mushrooms until tender in melted butter with curry powder and lemon juice. Add salt, pepper, and cayenne, Spread I T. mushroom mixture OVCF each slice of buttered bread. Roll like jelly roll and fasten ends with food picks. Place on baking sheets. Brush lightly with additional melted butter and bake in preheated oven at 425° until lightly brown or about 15 minutes. May be sliced in half and frozen before baking. If so, bake frozen and allow additional baking time.
