Wild button and grass mushrooms, freshly picked
Red, green peppers
1 small can tomato paste
1 onion, chopped
Fresh tomatoes
Olive oil
Water
1 fresh garlic
Basil
Oregano
Parsley
Bay leaf
Pickling spices (in cheesecloth)
Chicken bouillon

Directions:
Directions:
Carefully clean all the fresh mushrooms. Rinse thoroughly to ensure all the sand it gone. Place in pot and bring to a boil. Once they have boiled, rinse once again, and then cut mushrooms in to small pieces. Add to large heavy Dutch oven, along with all the above ingredients (amounts to your liking).
Bake at 350 for several hours.
Freezes well, in freezer bags or small containers.

Mushroom picking occurs in the fall, and when the mushrooms come out you must be ready to pick them right away, as they do not last long in the forest.
