1 c. egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tarter
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
7 egg yolks
1/2 c. liquid vegtable shortening (canola or other)
3/4 c. water
1 tsp. vanilla
little almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl beat egg whites,cream of tarter until very very stiff.
In small bowl add: flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.Sift together- make a well in the middle- then add: egg yolks, shortening, water,vanilla, and almond extract. Beat until well mixed. Fold:egg yolk mixture into egg white mixture. Bake 1 hour at
325 in angel food cake pan. Can frost with frosting or serve with whipping cream.
