2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
2 Tbsp. cocoa (optional, for peanut butter do not add)
1/2 c. milk
1 c. peanut butter
3 c. rolled quick oats
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
On stovetop in a big pot, bring sugar, butter, milk, and cocoa, if desired, to a boil -- stirring a lot. Melt in peanut butter -- keep stirring! Remove from heat and add vanilla and oats. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Remember to stir a lot. When dropping by spoonfuls, I use 2 spoons because it is very hot. You must use quick oats because whole oats absorb too much. Candy sets up as it cools.
