Ingredients:
2 cups sweetened coconut (shredded)
1 cup chopped pecans
3 cups powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 German chocolate cake mix (prepare as directed on box: 3 eggs, veg. oil, water, etc)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 13X9 baking pan.

Mix coconut and pecans together and spread over bottom of the cake pan.

Prepare cake mix as directed on box. Spread over coconut/pecan layer.

In separate bowl, mix (high speed) butter, cream cheese, and powdered sugar until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of mixture in an even fashion over the top of the cake mixture. (some will seep into the chocolate). This is a good thing! :)

Bake for 45-50 minutes, checking with a toothpick. When toothpick is removed and is clean, remove from oven and cool. Serve by cutting and flipping the slice upside down so that the coconut/pecan layer is the topping.

Very good served warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
