1/2 c. Butter
1 c. Flour
1/4 c. Powdered Sugar
2 T. Lemon Juice
Grated rind of 1 Lemon
2 Eggs, beaten
1 c. Sugar
2 T. Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking Powder

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, flour and 1/4 c. powdered sugar. Pat into a 9-inch square pan. Bake at 350 for 15 minutes. Mix together: lemon juice, rind, eggs, sugar, 2 T. flour and baking powder. Pour on baked crust. Return to oven. Bake 25 minutes. Cool.
Frosting: 3/4 c. powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1 T. butter, 2 tsp. milk. Mix all together and spread on top of the baked, cooled cookies.
