1 1/2 c. cornmeal
3 c. boiling water
1 tsp. salt
1 onion, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3 T. oil
3/4 lb. chopped or ground lean beef or 1 1/2 c. chopped cooked meat.
1 1/2 c. drained canned or cooked tomatoes
1 T. chili powder
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Stir cornmeal slowly into rapidly boiling salted water. Cook till thick. Saute onion and green pepper in oil till tender. Add meat, cook until done. Add tomatoes and chili powder. Salt if desired. Heat thoroughly.
Pour half the cornmeal into baking dish. Cover with meat mixture and top with rest of cornmeal.
Bake at 400 for 30 minutes, but remove last 10 minutes to top with grated cheese and sliced olives.
