1 3-5 lbs chuck roast (1 or 2 pieces);
2 packages onion soup mix;
3 cans cream of mushroom soup;
2 small cans mushrooms (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse chuck roast. Place first piece in crock pot. Layer/spread one can soup over meat. Sprinkle with 1 package of soup mix. Layer 1 can of mushrooms. Repeat with second piece of meat (or if only 1 piece of meat, repeat with soups and mushroom). Add last can of cream of mushroom soup. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Remove meat, stir well and return meat to gravy. Serve over egg noodles or rice.
