2 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. veg. oil
1/2 c. dates,pitted,chopped
1/2 tbsp. orange peel
1/2 c. orange juice

Topping

1/8 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
In mixing bowl mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Combine eggs, milk, and oil.
Add all at once to dry ingredients. Stir until well blended.
Add dates, orange peel and orange juice to batter. Stir until mixed. Spread batter evenly on greased sheet pan.

Topping :

Combine butter, brown sugar, nuts, and cinnamon.
Sprinkle over batter.
Bake at 350 for 30-45 mins.
