1/2 cup sugar 2 cups white navy or northern white beans 1 large onion 2 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup molasss pepper and salt to taste 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp allspice 1 can tomato sauce ham butts or chunks of ham
soak beans in cold water for about 4 hrs. Drain water and add fresh water to cover the beans and add beans and all of ingredients in a crockot or heavy pot. Put in a preheated oven at 350º and bake for about 4 hrs.
