2 1/2 C all-purpose flour
1 C sugar
2 sticks butter, softened
1 egg
1 t baking powder
2 T orange juice
1 t vanilla
FROSTING:
4 C confectioners sugar
1 stick butter, softened
3-4 T milk
2 t vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all cookie ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat at low speed until well mixed, 2-3 minutes. Cover and chill dough for 2-3 hours. Preheat oven to 400. Roll out dough on well floured surface to 1/4" thickness. Cut with cookie cutters. Place 1" apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake near center of oven for 6-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire rack before frosting and decorating. FROSTING: Combine all frosting ingredients in mixing bowl. Beat at low speed until fluffy, 2-3 minutes.

Decorate cookies with imagination! I used to make Christmas wreaths, adding coconut, tinted green, and red hots for the berries.
