1 Tbsp. olive oil
4 slices bacon, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 jalapeņo pepper, chopped
2-3 cloves garlic
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 Tbsp. chili powder
Salt and pepper
15 oz. tomato sauce
2 c. quick-cook polenta
1 c. shredded cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion, peppers and garlic in olive oil. Cook bacon and crumble. Cook and drain ground beef, adding spices while cooking. Combine bacon, beef and veggies and add tomato sauce.

Cook polenta according to package directions.

Place meat mixture in 9x13 pan. Pour polenta over and top with cheese. Place under broiler until cheese is melted and starting to brown.
