1 tbsp. very warm tap water
1 pkg dry yeast

1 c. hot tap water
6 tbsp Crisco shortening
1 tsp salt
1/4 c. sugar
1 egg (beaten)
3-4 c. flour
1 stick of butter

Directions:
Directions:
Combie water and yeast and set aside

In large bowl, combine hot water, shortening, sugar and salt. Stir then add yeast and egg. Begin stirring in flour gradually. Stir in until dough is elastic and forms a ball. Coat with 1 tbsp. oil, cover and refridgerate overnight. Dough will about double in size. To prepare rolls, place dough on a floured board and knead in enough flour to make a firm ball. Roll and cut rolls. Melt butter and place in baking pan. Butter should be warm. Roll each roll in the butter as you place it in the pan let rise. Bake at 425 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until brown on bottom and top. If you don't have time for the rolls to rise, place them in a cold oven at 425 degrees and bake.
