3 cans whole green beans
! cup cold water
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
3 or 4 drops of garlic juice
1 can mushroom soup
1 T. butter
1/2 cup grated velveeta cheese
1/3 cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Drain all liquid from beans and put in a stew pan with 1 cup cold water. Add salt and pepper and garlic juice. Cook about 10 minutes at a rolling boil.
Set aside. In another pan mix mushroom soup, butter grated cheese and chopped pecans. Heat at low heat, just enough to melt cheese and butter. Stir well. Drain green beans again and place in oblong pyrex dish. Pour mushroom mixture over beans. Put in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 10 minutes.

Most kids don't like the pecans in this recipe. I sometimes add a few finely chopped onions.
