Jell-O Salad:
2 pkg. cherry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
1 large can crushed pineapple and juice
1 can cherry pie filling

Topping:
1/2 c. sugar
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 oz. sour cream
1 T. vanilla
chopped pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
For salad, dissolve Jell-O in boiling water. Stir in pineapple and juice andpie filling. Congeal in 9x12-inch pan. For topping, mix together all ingredients except pecans. Spread evenly over congealed salad and sprinkle pecans on top, if desired.
