1 can crushed pineapple with juice (19 oz.)
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans

Frosting:
1 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
1 stick butter, softened
1 1/3 cup confectioners sugar
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Mix pineapple, sugar, eggs, flour, baking soda, vanilla and chopped pecans by hand and pour into greased 9x13 dish. Bake 40-45 minutes at 350.

Frosting:
Mix cream cheese, butter, confectioners sugar and vanilla. Spread on cake while slightly warm. Leave in refrigerator for two days before serving. (If you can wait!)

Darle Campbell shared this recipe in our first church cookbook back in the early 80's. It has always been a favorite in our family, especially Bid's favorite.
