9-inch Crust for Strawberry Pie
1 c. Sugar
(see recipe in this category)
2 T. Cornstarch
1/8 tsp. Salt
1 c. Water, boiling
3 T. Strawberry Jello
Whipped Cream or Cool Whip
1 qt. Fresh Strawberries, stemmed & washed

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in saucepan. Stir in water and bring to a boil, stirring constantly until thick and clear. Remove from heat and immediately add jello. Cool. Add strawberries (whole or halved) and pour into crust. Refrigerate for several hours. Serve with whipped cream. May garnish with a strawberry on top.
