2 lbs. hash browns, zapped in microwave 10 minutes
1/2 cup butter
3 green onions, sliced
2 cans cream of chicken soup
2 cans cream of celery soup
1 pt. half & half (low or fat free)
1 cup skim milk (if too thick)
3/4 cup grated cheddar cheese
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onions in melted butter. Add half & half, soups and hash browns. Heat slowly, then add cheese and pepper. Continue to heat, adding milk if soup gets too think.

Serve with bacon bits and shredded cheese on top.
