2/3 c. margarine 4 c. oatmeal 1 c. brown sugar 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. light or dark karo syrup Topping: 1 c. chocolate chips 2/3 c. chunky peanut butter
Melt margarine. Mix oatmeal and brown sugar. Add rest of ingredients. Bake in greased 9x13-inch pan at 325º for 12 minutes or until bubbly. Let cool 10 minutes. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Spread on bars. Refrigerate to set.
