2 eggs
1 c. brown sugar
1 c. white sugar
1 c. margarine, softened
1 c. coconut
3 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:

Beat eggs; add sugars & shortening. Beat. Add coconut, nuts & vanilla. Sift & measure flour, add salt, baking powder, soda, sift & add to first mixture. Add oatmeal & mix thoroughly. Roll into small balls & press with fork. Bake at 375 for 9 min. or until brown
