2 lbs. hashbrown potatoes 1/4 cup onion, chopped 10 oz. cheddar cheese, grated 16 oz. sour cream 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) cream of chicken soup 1 tsp. salt 1 stick (1/2 cup) melted butter For topping-- bread crumbs and one additional stick of melted butter
Mix all ingredients together, excluding those for the topping. Put mixture in greased 3 quart casserole dish. Cover top with bread crumbs and pour stick of melted butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hr., 10 min.
