1 1/2 lb. ground beef 1 1/2 c. finely chopped onion 1/2 c. finely chopped celery 1/3 c. beef broth 1 clove minced garlic 3/4 c. catsup 1 1/2 tbsp. mustard 3/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 can ( 1 lb. 13 oz.) molasses style baked beans 4 bacon slices
In dutch oven or roasting pan, fry bacon until crisp. Remove and drain. Pour drippings from pan. In same pan, cook ground beef, onion & celery until meat is brown and onion tender. Stir in broth and remaining ingredients. Cover and bake at 375º for 1 hour 15 minutes or until hot & bubbly. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top.
