This recipe for Vanilla Rice Pudding, by Gen, is from Crandall's Ordinary ,

4 c. milk 1 egg, well beaten 1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Vanilla Flavor Pudding (not instant) 1 c. MINUTE Rice, uncooked 1/4 c. raisins 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1) Gradually stir milk and egg into pudding mix in saucepan. Add rice and raisins. Stir over medium heat until mixture just comes to boil. Cool 5 minutes, stirring twice. 2) Pour into dessert dishes or serving bowl. Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve warm or refrigerate. Place plastic wrap on surface of pudding while cooling.
