8 1g. or 10medium potatoes
1 onion
salt and pepper to taste
5 slices bacon

Directions:
Directions:
Into large mixing bowl finely grate the potatoes and onion, add seasonings. Fry crisply the bacon, add to potato mixture. Generously grease 9x13 pan, dust with flour. Pour mixture into pan. Preheat oven at 400 degrees. Begin baking Koch, after a few minutes, lower temperature to 350 degrees, bake about 1 hour, until tan in color. To serve, cut into squares, and if desired, top with syrup or applesauce.
