1(16 oz.) can diced beets 3 eggs 11/2 cup sugar 1 cup oil 1 tsp. Vanilla 2 cup flour Ĺ cup cocoa 11/2 tsp. Baking soda ĺ tsp. Salt frosting
Drain beets, reserving Ĺ cup liquid. Beat eggs. Add sugar, oil and vanilla and beat well. Combine dry ingredients and add alternately with beet liquid to egg mixture. Beat until well blended. Stir in beets. Pour into greased and floured 9x13 inch pan. Bake at 350 F for 35 to 40 minutes. Cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
