2-16 oz cans sweet potatoes, 1/4 cup butter, 1 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup milk & 1/2 tsp vanilla. TOPPING -1 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup butter, 1/3 cup flour, 2 tsp cinnamon & 1 cup pecans - chopped.

Heat sweet potatoes to a boil and then drain. Mash them with butter. Add all other ingredients, mix and put in a greased baking dish. Mix the topping ingredients and spread over the top of the mashed sweet potatoes mixture in a baking dish. Bake at 350 for 40 minutes.

I have made this for several family get togethers and I was really happy with how it turned out. Unfortunately, only a few people in the family seem to like sweet potatoes! (Dad (Charles)& Aunt Berea both deceased & Michon and my nephew Todd). I love sweet potatoes!
