6 Egg Whites (3/4 cup)
2 c. Sugar
1 1/2 tsp. Lemon juice or Vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff, gradually beating in 1 c. sugar. Beat in lemon juice a little at a time with remaining sugar. Beat until very stiff and glossy. Drop by a small spoonful in a 3-inch circle on parchment paper placed on a baking sheet; hollow out with back of spoon. Bake at 275 for 40 minutes. Turn off oven. Leave in oven while oven cools.
