3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup dark cocoa
2 cups sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup soft butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/4 cups milk
5 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all dry ingredients in large bowl. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Add milk and vanilla. Mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, and mix well after each egg. Pour batter into greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Cool on wire rack. Run knife around inside of cake pan to help loosen. Turn cake over on large dish when cool.
