1 cup margarine
2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
cup water
6 eggs
3 cups milk
cup sugar
2 tsp vanilla
1 loaf Italian bread

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare syrup: melt together margarine, brown sugar, cinn, and cup water. Bring to a boil and set aside. Slice bread into 18 pieces. Spread a single layer in a 9x13 pan. Spread with 1/3 cup brown sugar syrup.

Layer again with bread and spread with remaining syrup.

Prepare custard: Beat eggs with milk and sugar and vanilla. Pour over bread and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
