5 c. flour 1/2 c. sugar 3 T. baking powder 1 1/2 c. butter 2 c. cold milk
Mix first three ingredients. Cut in butter until fine crumbs resembling cornmeal. Mix in cold milk and combine until moist. Spoon into muffin tins. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until light brown on top. Serve with butter and homemade jam.
