1 Qt. buttermilk
2 cups boiling water
4 cups Kelloggs All Bran
2 cups Nabisco Bran
3 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 cup shortening
5 tsp. soda
2 tsp. salt
5 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Pour boiling water over cereal and cool. Add buttermilk. Cream shortening and sugar Beat in eggs. Add cereal. Mix dry ingredients together and stir in just until mixed Do not over beat. Keep is refrigerator for 6 weeks. Bake 30 minutes or less at 350
