2 cups rolled oats (not quick cooking)
1/2 cup oat bran
1 cup whole almonds
1/2 cup dry milk powder
3/8 cup vegetable oil
3/8 cup honey
1/2 tablespoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon almond extract
1/4 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray a cooking sheet pan with oil. In one bowl, mix 2 cups rolled oats, 1/2 c oat bran, 1 cup whole almonds. In another bowl, whisk 1/2 cup dry milk powder, 3/8 cup vegetable oil, 3/8 cup honey, 1/2 tbsp. vanilla, 1/4 teasp. almond extract, 1/4 teasp. salt. Pour mixture over oats and stir with your hands. Spread onto pan and bake about 25 minutes, stirring halfway thru. The oats will be soft but will crisp as it cools. When completely cool, mix in 1/2 cup raisins or other dried fruit. May substitute other nuts (pecans) if desired. Store in an airtight container, will keep for 3 weeks.
