Cake:
1 box (18 1/2 oz) chocolate cake mix with pudding
3 eggs
1/2 cup Irish whiskey
1/2 cup cold water
1/3 cup oil

Filling:
1 int heavy cream
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
1/2 cup confectioner's sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/ cup Irish whiskey
1/2 cup chopped walnuts, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350F. Butter and flour, (or use extra powdered cocoa), two 9" layer cake pans. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Blend, then beat at medium speed for two minutes. Pour into pans. Bake for 30 minutes, or until cake test done. Do not under-bake. Cool in pans for 10 minutes. Remove from pans and cool on racks. Split each layer in half horizontally. Make filling:
Combine cream, cocoa, sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat until stiff. Fold in whiskey. Spread one cup filling between each layer, stacking layers, and over top of the cake. Keep cake chilled. Serve cold. Walnuts can be sprinkled between each layer before adding filling.
