c cups sugar
2 cups water
1 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 cup oleo or butter
1 T. salt
2 cups cold water
4 eggs, beaten
12-13 cups flour

Filling listed below.

Mix yeast with 1/4 cup warm water. Let sit. Boil sugar and water for 5 minutes. Add shortening and salt. Allow shortening to melt and then add cold water. Add eggs, yeast and then flour. Knead for 10 minutes. Make around 2-3 in the afternoon. About 6 o'clock, punch down and let rise again. About 9 or 10, punch down, and turn out onto floured surface and roll into favorite rolls. Let rise overnight covered on kitchen counter. Bake the next morning about 7 or 8 a.m.

Filling: Boil full boil for 1 minute.
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup dark Karo syrup.:
