1 c. Shortening
1/2 c. White Sugar
1/2 c. Brown Sugar
2 Egg Yolks
1 Tbsp. Water
2 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
6 oz. Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Mix in rest of ingredients. Spread mixture in 9x13 pan. Sprinkle 1 pkg. (6 oz.) Chocolate Chips over mix. Cover with meringue of 2 egg whites and 1 C. Brown sugar (beat till stiff). Bake 25 minutes at 350. Cut into bars while still warm to touch.
