2 1/2 lb. round steak
salt & pepper
3/4 c. flour
2-3 T. oil
1 tsp. nutmeg



SAUCE:
10 3/4 oz. can tomato soup
1 lg. onion sliced or 1 T. dry
1/4 c. brown sugar
parsley for garnish

Directions:
Directions:
Cut meat into 10-12 serving portions. Pound to tenderize if desired. Mix flour and nutmeg in a brown paper bag. Add meat and shake to coat. Heat oil in pan and brown meat. Season to taste. Spread 1/3 of soup can in bottom of 2 quart baking dish or 9x13 pan. Add sugar to remaining soup in can and mix. Layer meat, onion slices and sauce into dish. Cover and bake 350 for 1 1/2 hrs or 325 for 2 hours. Crockpot: Low 8-10 hrs
