1 lb ground chuck, chopped
3 large ribs celery, chopped
1/2 large onion, chopped
1/2 large bell pepper, chopped
1 large can tomatoes
2 tsp salt
1/8 tsp pepper
1 cup macaroni
1/2 tsp salt

Directions:
Directions:
Brown meat and drain off fat
Add next 6 ingredients and simmer at least 1 hour
and 2 hours if possible
Cook macaroni in 4 cups water and 1/2 tsp salt
In 8 inch glass baking dish or casserole layer meat mixture on the bottom, then macaroni, then meat mixture on top using all ingredients and making sure a layer of meat is on the top.
Bake uncovered for 1 hour at 350
Best made a day before and reheated
