5 cup flour
7 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cup cold mashed potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 cup milk
3 eggs, well beaten
2 cup sugar
1 Tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp. nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and baking powder. Beat potatoes, salt, eggs, sugar and butter. Add nutmeg and milk. Stir. Add flour and stir until well mixed. Chill. Should be just stiff enough to handle. The softer the dough, the better the doughnuts.
