1 cup lard
1 cup sugar
2 cup hot potato water
1 cup mashed potatoes
1 1/2 pkg. Yeast
2 eggs, beaten
1 Tbsp. salt
flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine lard, sugar, potato water and mashed potatoes. When it has cooled to lukewarm, add yeast. Let stand 2 hours. Add beaten eggs and slat. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise until double, and then punch down. Roll out and cut Ponczki. Deep fry.
