2-1/2 lbs. chicken, cut up
1 lb. beef, cut up
1 c. cooked lima beans
1 c. corn
1 c. diced potatoes
2 c. tomatoes
3 sliced onions
Salt and pepper, to taste
Corn bread, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Place chicken and beef in a heavy kettle. Cover with water and simmer until meat is tender. Add vegetables and seasonings. Simmer two more hours to blend meats and vegetables and to thicken stew.
