6 T. butter
11/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 pint blueberries (fresh, canned or frozen)

Cream butter and sugar with electric mixer until very light.

Add eggs one at a time and beat thoroughly. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk.

With a fork crush 1/2 pint fresh blueberries to release flavor. Stir the rest of the blueberries by hand. Do not crush canned or frozen blueberries.

Sprinkle sugar or cinnamon sugar on top of each muffin.

Bake 350 for 30 minutes or until brown.
