2 c. plus 1 tbsp. shortening
2 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 eggs
3/4 c. water
1 tbsp. vanilla
3 c. flour
1 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. soda
2 1/2 c. raisins
7 c. oats

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening and sugars. Add eggs, water and vanilla and mix well.
Mix dry ingredients together except oats. Mix raisins in dry mixture, make sure raisins are individually coated to prevent them from lumping together.
Mix oats with flour mixture.
Add to shortening a little at a time. Barely mix.
Dip with # 40 ice cream scoop.
Bake in preheated oven at 325 for 15-18 mins.
