1 lb ground pork
1 lb ground beef
1 large onion
1 can beef consommé
2 tbsp cornstarch
1/4 c water
1/4 c bread crumbs
salt, pepper, garlic to taste
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cloves

Cook pork and beef with onion until brown.
Add spices. Mix cornstarch with beef consommé, add to meat mixture.
Cook, then add water.
Add bread crumbs - meat will be thick.
Cool, add to pie shell. Cover with top crust, make slits in top crust.
Bake at 350º until good and brown.
If making pie crust, add grated cheddar cheese to the mix for added flavour.
