1 pkg. (10.75 oz) Frozen pound cake loaf, thawed and cut into 9 slices
3/4 cup strong coffee
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup chocolate flavored syrup
1 (8 oz) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 bars (2.4 oz each) chocolate-covered toffee candy, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Arrange cake slices in rectangular baking dish, 11x7x1 1/2 inches cutting cake slices if necessary to cover bottom of dish. Drizzle coffee over cake.

Beat sugar, chocolate syrup and cream cheese in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until smooth. Add whipping cream. Beat on medium speed until light and fluffy. Spread over cake. Sprinkle with candy.

Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour but no longer than 24 hours.

Variation: I use a 9x13 cake pan and double the recipe. I cut the cake a little thinner and arrange it so I have 2 layers of cake with the cream mixture between the layers and on top. Drizzle the coffee only on the bottom layer of cake. Makes a very rich, delicious, chocolate dessert for special occasions.
