2 c. graham cracker crumbs
1/2 c. butter
2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
1 additional c. butter
2 eggs; 1 tsp. vanilla
5 bananas, sliced in half lengthwise
1 can (1lb.40z) crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg. (41/2 oz.) whipped topping
1c. chopped walnuts
1/2 jar (8 oz.) marchino cherries, drained and sliced

Directions:

Combine graham cracker crumbs and 1/2 cup butter or margarine in a bowl and mix well. Spread and pat into bottom of 11x7x11/2 baking dish. Combine sugar and remaining butter in large mixing bowl. Beat until light, add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg. Add vanilla. Beat until light and fluffy. Spread carefully over crumbs. arrange banana slices over butter/sugar mixture. Top with pineapple. Cover with whipped topping. Sprinkle with nuts and garnish with cherry halves. Chill until ready to serve.
