1 pound asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoon olive oil
Kosher salt and pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Heat broiler. On a baking sheet, toss the asparagus with the oil, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon pepper to coat. Arrange the asparagus in a single layer and broil, shaking the baking sheet occasionally, until tender and slightly charred, 6-8 minutes. Transfer to platter. Can also be done on the grill.
