2 fresh turnip roots, peeled and diced 1/2 c. picnic ham pieces 1 tsp. ham base 1/2 tsp. sugar 1 (14 oz.) can Sylvia's turnip greens Water
Cook ham pieces in about a cup of water 30-45 minutes. Add diced roots, sugar, ham base and enough water to barely cover roots. Cook until roots are done. Add canned greens. Turn off heat. Let set about an hour. Reheat when ready to serve.
