3/4 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tbsp. sugar
2 c. all-purpose flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine first 4 ingredients; beat at medium speed with electric mixer until blended. Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt in a large bowl; stir well. Add sweet potato mixture and buttermilk to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.
Turn dough out onto a floured surface and knead lightly 6-8 times. Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 2 1/2 inch biscuit cutter. Place on an ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 400 for 18-20 minutes.
