1 lb lean ground beef
1/4 c Burgundy, Claret or other dry red wine
1 tsp garlic salt
freshly ground pepper to taste

Burgundy Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
2 tbsp chopped chives or green onions
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp red wine

Directions:
Directions:
Combine beef, wine, salt and pepper and shape into 4 patties. Serve with Burgundy Sauce.

Burgundy Sauce:
Heat together the butter, chives, soy sauce and wine. (Do not cook--just heat.) Spoon over meat or pass sauce separately.
